Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Define multi-region disaster recovery, active-active failover patterns, and zero-downtime deployment pipelines handling over 500,000 transactions per minute.

Drive platform engineering modernization across cloud cost telemetry, Envoy service mesh, and infrastructure-as-code automation.

Partner with security engineering to uphold PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance and sovereign data residency boundaries across US, EU, and APAC zones.

Mentor senior engineers across core payment primitives and lead technical architectural review boards.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of platform engineering or cloud architecture experience in ultra-high availability SaaS or FinTech environments.

Deep expertise in AWS primitives (EC2, EKS, RDS Aurora, DynamoDB, Direct Connect) and Terraform.

Strong systems software background in Go, Rust, or Java.

Proven track record designing systems with 99.999% uptime guarantees.
