Cloudflare's mission is to help build a better internet. The Application Security team works across engineering to identify vulnerabilities, conduct rigorous threat models, and build automated security guardrails into deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Perform in-depth threat modeling, code auditing, and architecture reviews across Rust and Go edge microservices.

Design automated SAST/DAST integrations and software bill of materials (SBOM) scanning in GitLab CI/CD.

Partner with product teams on cryptographic primitives, TLS 1.3 implementations, and hardened authentication systems (WebAuthn/FIDO2).
